Beet Acai Smoothie & Chia Parfait

Fully vegan and high in nutrition!

Layers from bottom to top:

1) Chia Pudding

2) Beet Acai Smoothie

3) Raspberry Jam Buttercream

Ingredients for Chia Pudding:

4 tbsp of chia seeds

200 ml of filtered water

1 tbsp of 100% maple syrup to sweeten

Method: Stir well and set aside for 30 mins to gelatinise. The texture will be gel-like and resembles a pudding.

Ingredients for Beet Acai Smoothie:

1/4 cup of raw beetroots

1/2 cup of fresh pineapples

1 tsp of Organic Burst Acai powder

1/2 cup of almond milk (unsweetened)

2 frozen bananas

Method: Blend all the above ingredients until smooth in a power blender.

Ingredient for Raspberry Jam Buttercream (no trans fats, no butter, no dairy)

1 tbsp of organic raspberry jam

1/2 cup of vegan shortening (organic and non-hydrogenated)

3/4 cup + 1 tbsp of icing sugar

1 tsp of vanilla extract

Method: Use an electric mixer to combine the ingredients together. Firstly, you would need to cream the shortening until light and fluffy, then gradually add in the sugars. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and increase mixer speed to high and mix for another 5 mins.
