Chia Parfait for the Mind, Body & Soul



Chia Parfaits are always welcome in the household! I have them for breakfast, lunch and sometimes, dinner. Why do I say that they are good for your mind, body, and soul? Well, it is because they are high in Omega-3 fats which are essential to the brain, helping you to think better and be productive at work. As for your body, chia seeds have high-quality proteins to keep you full for longer and curb food cravings which mean that you will most likely stop snacking in the middle of the night. So once you are kept focus in your mind and your body feels light and energised, your soul will naturally feel at peace and calm, because everything is working out for you! Hooray!

From bottom to top:

1) Wheatgrass Chia Pudding - made from 1 tsp of Organic Burst Wheatgrass powder, 2 tbsp of Organic Burst Chia Of Life, 100ml of almond milk, 1 tsp of pure maple syrup. Stir well in a jar and let it thicken for 30 mins before use.

2) Blueberry Acai Chia Pudding - made from 2 tbsp of blueberry puree, 1 tsp of Acai Powder, 2 tbsp of Organic Burst Chia Of Life, 100ml of almond milk, 1 tsp of pure maple syrup. Again, set aside to thicken for 30 mins.

3) Fresh raspberries on top.

There are many variations of chia pudding you can make. I also like to add rolled oats to my chia pudding, but with oats, you would need to soak it overnight (more than 8 hours) for it to be digestible.
