Dairy-Free Salted Chocolate Covered Figs

These are my favorite frozen desserts to snack on, at any time of the day! Be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, this visually appealing chocolate coated fruit is irresistible. You will be amazed how easy it is to make and also you will be able to pop these babies into your mouth in 30 mins after making them.

These are the ingredients you would need:

- 1/2 cup of dairy-free vegan chocolate chunks (I use the brand called "Enjoy Life" Foods)

- 1 tbsp of light olive oil

- 2 to 3 cups of fresh figs (approximately 8-10 figs)

- 2 tsp of Himalayan pink salts

Firstly you would need to melt the chocolate chunks over a pot of boiling water or use a microwave method, which is heating up for about 2 mins. Stir olive oil into the melted chocolate. Set aside to cool. Now slice the figs with a thickness of 0.5mm, so it would be thick enough to hold and dip into the melted chocolate. Dip half of the sliced fig into the bowl of chocolate and lay on a flat tray that is lined with baking parchment paper. Repeat this step for all the rest of the sliced figs. Before these goes into the freezer, sizzle pink salts over the chocolate coated section of the figs. Place in freezer for 20-30 mins before serving. You can either place in fridge or freezer depending on how frozen you like your desserts to be. Try both ways!
