Dark Choco Ganache (Vegan, GF)

Entirely vegan, gluten free and also soy free! You can glaze this on any of your favorite cakes.


☁️1 cup of dairy-free vegan chocolate chips/chunks/bars (72% cacao - am using "Enjoy Life" dairy free chocolate chunks)

☁️1/4 cup of vegan butter or shortening (am using "Nutiva" organic shortening, made from red palm oil and coconut oil)

☁️2-3 tbsp of unsweetened almond milk (homemade)

Melt all the ingredients together in a glass bowl. Place it on top of a pot of boiling water. The steam will help evenly heat up the mixture. Use a whisk to remove lumps and make sure mixture is very smooth, silky and shiny! Let it cool for 2-3 mins before using. This ganache can be stored in the fridge for one week, or in the freezer for three weeks.
