No Waffles maker? No Worries! How-To Make Vegan Waffles

I know some of you might have reservations making waffles for breakfast because of the lack of a waffles maker, but not to worry! Now all you need is a waffle-shaped mold to do so! Taste so good and easy to make. Here below is the foolproof recipe.

  • 1/2 cup of gluten free flour (I like to use Bob's Mill All-Purpose gluten-free flour)

  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp of almond milk (sweetened/unsweetened is fine)

  • 1/2 tsp of baking powder

  • 1/8 tsp of baking soda

  • 1/2 a very ripe banana

  • 2 tbsp of pure maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp of light olive oil

  • Pinch of Himalayan pink salts

  • Dash of cinnamon

Serves 2 waffles

Start by preheating the oven for approximately 20 mins at 430F (220C). Place all the above ingredients in a power blender and blend until it is a smooth batter (not too thick, pourable and runny consistency).

Use a 4-waffles mold tray (silicone) and pour batter into the molds. Make sure that you place a tin tray below the waffles mold so that you can easily transfer it to the oven, without spilling.

Bake for 15-20 mins depending on how crispy you like it to be. Remove from molds and place on a flat plate, decorate with fresh banana slices and dragonfruits. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve immediately while still warm and toasty.
